Robo Jamminn

Robo Jamminn is 3 out of 6 original band members from the group Jimbo Norman. The name Robo Jamminn is an anagram of Jimbo Norman.

The trio were performing at Pianos in NYC and needed to promote the event. Due to the nature of the group (drums, bass and piano/synthesizer) the sound is led, harmonically, by the keyboard and the connection to the venue name made the piano keys stand out as a strong visual element. A custom typeface was created based on the black and white keys of a piano using modified black keys to represent negative space in the artchitecture of the letters. Promotional posters were printed and placed around the city.
